Turnaround time?

What is the turnaround time if I were to send in my bokt for your firing pin, stonefacing and etc?

As evidenced by my lack of responding sooner, we've gotten much busier in July/Aug/Sept this year than we normally do, so turnaround is creeping over 30 days, and we're doing our best to keep it under 60 days.

Turnaround time far exceeds the claim of one month here.  I'm at 3 months and waiting.

I called today to ask about the status of my rifle.  He hung up on me after saying he couldn't get anything done for having to answer the phone.  I think he should either hire someone to answer the phone or get out of the business.  Either way if I don't get an honest answer about when my rifle is coming back I'll be calling the postal inspectors soon.  We'll see if he hangs up on them.  Mail fraud carries a 20 year prison term.  And from where I'm sitting my rifle has been taken from me.  I've been told 3 different times it would be out by the end of the week.  I still don't have any indication it's coming and it's been over a week since it was supposed to be shipped out.  His response to that - he doesn't make any promises - he just states guidelines.  Before Christmas I was told there were 4 rifles ahead of mine and it should be shipped out the week before Christmas.  Yeah right.  Some guidelines.

I wouldn't mind the wait if he would just be honest with me about things.  But he hasn't been.  That BS that he didn't "promise" anything is double talk for "I'll do what I want and screw you".  I could easily have lived with him telling me it would be another month but this stuff of saying it's going to come, it's coming, it's coming makes me think it ain't ever going to come.

I sent that rifle in on Oct. 8th.  I was led to believe it would be a one month turnaround.  That's just not right.  This is what he told me on Dec. 17th.

"Only 4 ahead of yours and expect to get them all done the next 2 days and early next week."

WOW  !!   supposed to be ''the guy''..............If he's THAT far behind, he should have at least put a disclaimer up about the turnaround time!!!   Irresponsible to keep taking guns and let the orders keep backing up.   As a carpenter, i ALWAYS stop taking new jobs if I get too much coming in at once so i can put the quality into the work and give the quality the customer is paying for/ expecting.   Sounds like he's in over his head ............
