While we were doing some additional testing on the new G9/A's (after we had them manufactured and in stock) we started having issues with the back of the adapter dropping out from under the mag catch on a few of the test rifles. We determined the catch wasn't going as far into the adapter pocket as we thought. I contacted Eric about making us some new catches that were longer to grip the back of the adapter better. I sent a rough drawing and he jumped all over it. Made us the new SS catches in record time and shipped them to us. The new catches needed a little tweaking to make them perfect. In Eric's defense, he did EXACTLY what we asked him to do. We discussed the tweak and he was on-board and agreed it was a good, easy fix to make them right. We sent them back and he is implementing the tweak as I write this.
If you have one of our G9/A's you will be receiving one of the new mag catches at no charge whether you need it or not. We don't want to risk the adapter dropping out on you. The new mag catches will be included in all new shipments going forward.
Eric, all I can say is THANK YOU my friend. You have been a life saver for us. PLEASE keep up the excellent work. We need craftsmen like you in this business who are capable of thinking 'outside the box'. If you need anything CNC, Eric is the 'go to' man.
