Safety Spring Question

(1/3) > >>

MadScientist:
Hello Tom,
I sent you an email at the address listed on your website, also figured I'd contact you here as well.  I wanted to send in a trigger group to you from an SKS I just purchased since I'm new to the platform and you are the expert.

Foremost issue with it is its missing a safety spring, I was wondering if that would be something you would mind installing and how that would effect the price.

SweaT-Rex:
The early as issued Russian SKS has a friction safety lever & is not meant to have a safety spring.  They were added to the early rifles when refurbed.

Sounds like previous owner broke the spring.

Not a Russian, it is a Yugo.  I guess you missed that part?

Whoops! My bad.  Didn't realize it was a Yugo.  RV, are you thinking the spring is there but the posts on the safely lever are broken off?
