Scottsbluff National Monument

My daughter came home for her birthday, talked me into going out for a little walk on the monument. This time of year spring is still a warm thought, though temp was relatively warm, the wind was howling at 50mph plus on the ground, up on the bluff you could hardly stand up on the windward side. My daughter is an idiot.
But it was pretty up there despite the wind and time of year.

Wide open spaces.
Some people are unable to comprehend that much empty space.
