That’s a pretty kick ass deal for a 1x8. I’ve been wanting one for awhile now but have been holding out for a FFP version which I’m not sure if vortex even has and other companies who do like PA have higher prices on them the a SFP.

My 1x6 is a FFP and I really love it. I know what the difference between the two is and how they work but wats the real world difference? Is it that big of a deal?

I have a 1-5X FFP, I don't find FFP that much more useful on low power scopes, it was nice on the 12x and up ones I have used. 

It had been hard to find the FDE strike eagles for a while, they must have caught up production finally.
