+1! If I had a brother sell one of dad's guns... all HELL would break loose in a hurry.

Looking at it closely, it looks like the stock may have been sanded...that would be a shame.

I took it upon myself to suggest that the dude not sell his Dad's rifle.  I mentioned the fact that
he will probably regret it in the future.  And then suggested that he pass it down
to his kids or something like that...but at least to keep it in the family.
I offered it just as friendly advice.   :)
