Trailer is empty ,
This week end it gets loaded up. 
Have the ammo loaded, sorted, boxed. 
Flo has a bag of beads, some other little Mardi Gras Trinkets, keeps trying to get me to bring a Boa.
Nope, no way. 
Gonna make the beans, freeze them.  Real sausage this time.

I was actually getting ready to head out to the range to (finally) zero in my rifles for the long range comps when my brother called with news of the pedestrian bridge collapse at FIU.  It threw my plans into disarray as I spent some hours checking on everyone I know and watching the news, and afterward, I just didn't feel like going to the range anymore.  I finally decided to get to work on reloading my ammo for the comps but I'll have to hit the range on Sunday.  If I can't make it out to sight these in there won't be a point to getting there for the Friday comps, but I'll keep you guys informed.  I've just been kind of bummed today, for obvious reasons.

FRIDAY NIGHT DINNER (5:00 PM)
Louisiana Gumbo
w/ gulf shrimp and andoullie sausage, served over white rice.  Hot sauce on the side

SATURDAY BREAKFAST
Continental Breakfast
  opens at 7:00
PANCAKE BUFFET
(Cause the Continental sucks, pancakes are awesome)
  Starts at 8:00
assorted fruits, jams and syrups, with whipped cream

SATURDAY LUNCH (11:00)
Muffaletta
a mountain of Italian cold cuts, cheeses and olive salad on a sesame seed loaf

Shrimp Po' Boy
Fried shrimp piled high on fluffy cuban rolls, smothered in Cajun Remoulade sauce with tomato slices and shredded lettuce

Assorted Chips
whatevers left from Friday.  Probably mostly fritos and bbq, cause who the hell eats bbq chips.

SATURDAY DINNER (6:00)
New Orleans Seafood Boil
piles of Crawfish, Shrimp, Mussels, Sausage, Corn, Potatoes, boiled with Cajun spices, dumped on the table

Bourbon Chicken
Some people dont like seafood.  We dont talk to those people, but we do feed them.  So, N' Orleans style Bourbon Chicken it is!

We've given a literal mad scientist the reigns here folks.  He says its red beans and rice; I say its an adventure!

Alright guys, so I finally managed to sight in my new 308 rifle (sort of).  I'll still need to fine tune it a bit on Friday.  I also re-sighted the AR HBAR for the combat marksman comp (once again, sort of) so I'll try using that one.  If I can't it's the good old Saiga again. 

Bottom line is I'm comin' for you guys!
