Hey Ranger, I'm not going to make it!

Someone "new" won the pistol comp? Cool story, see you in October.  8)

And to think, I actually had my time off requests approved for a Thursday arrival. Sometimes life happens though...

I hope "you people" froze your behinds off this weekend!

Dude they gave out real trophies this time.

True story bro

Yea man, they were flying out of Ranger's hand faster than clay pigeons from a launcher.

Never got below 68 degrees where I was sleeping. Aaaaaawesome weather.

That is because the retirement facility has a heater in it.

Hey Toad;
8 shoots with the original tires and bearings on that Harbor Freight trailer :)

I got 4 shoots worth of mileage running to the lake and back during one summer. It's not that the tires are dangerous, it's just that you can get one heck of a better ride with 13" rims, and tires NOT made in China. And, atleast do the wheel seals man! It's less than $5! Don't tell me you're too cheap. I know you make that kinda money, and them some, one nickle at a time, this past weekend. Next $10 suggestion is go to the part store, buy lugs for the trailer that match your pull vehicles lug wrench. They cost about $2.50 more than a 4-way you may forget.  8)

Got two pull vehicles.  Change lugs on the trailer each time I change vehicles?
Besides, it's only got about 14,000 miles on it and doesn't get dipped in a lake.

and yes, another nickel :)

I'd bring my 1903 Mark 1 again, but really don't want to shoot it out.
So, I use a Mosin in the vintage.
Lost this time :(
(Actually let someone else win, right Tim?)
Kidding, Tim got me.  Once.

What you gonna bring?

I have to buy a surplus rifle, I sold all my non-modern manufactured rifles when I moved from Orlando a few years ago because they all kept rusting in my safe(kept in the garage).

Looks like I have a few months to research it out. Personally, I hope to find out that the M1 carbine is the most accurate WWI/WWII rifle as I've always wanted a reason to own one...

I like the M1, never had the money when they were cheap, don't want to spent the money now that they are not.  Not being a collector it wouldn't even have to be all authentic and all.

We had an M1 at one of the vintage matches.  Not enough umph at 100yds to pop the tanerite.
(could use an enhancer in the mix though)

Correct Dale, was taking about the carbine, not your nice Garand :)

That being said about the M1 its 30.06 just like the 1903 plenty of umph. Maybe M1 carbine which is a lot weaker. Left overs taken home were fantastic.
What me worry? We will all be dead in 12 years "AOC"

I got 3 Mosins. I'll let you shoot the one that is about 4inches high at 100yds. Just lollypop it, a lot.

Speaking of sharpening, I might go over to Academy Sports this weekend and get me one of those clay throwers you brought to the shoot. Then I can sharpen my clay shooting skills AND we can do doubles in October.
