Bandoliers! - a quick opinion poll.
« on: July 19, 2015, 08:15:40 PM »
I'm looking to revamp and extend our bandolier offerings at Strike Hard Gear. The old school USGI bandolier that comes inside an ammo can is a proven design but doesn't work well with the Russian calibers and hi-cap magazines. Also you only get one color choice; OD Green.

If you could get a modernized, well-built GI style bandolier in popular colors to carry your extra stripper clips or magazines what would you put in it?

Thanks for your input.

Where's the "all of the above" option? Part of RFI issue in the Army was a M16 magazine bandolier. We loved those things. Load em up and stick em anywhere you might need a full basic load real quick (like on the back of the seat of a humvee, behind the door in a guard tower, etc.) grab and go. A universal one of those would be cool.

I wish I could make a one-size fits all. It's like having a midget share pants with a basketball player

I chose the Mosin and SKS stripper clip options because there are already some good AK flavored options out there, and I'd like to see what you guys do with the classics ;)

Me too. I've got a bunch of chest rigs and one with leather pouches on a utility belt with suspenders. All seem a little compromising, but functional. PAX
