Okay, I've had a few comments (positive and neg) about putting several parts of my Alby "in the white" (receiver cover, bayo, magazine). Now, I did this because the blue on them was like 2% and looked really crappy. But should I go for a refinish?

Re-blue, man. What took you so long?

Besides, it seems like having the metal "in the white" is just asking for rust blemishes.

Yeah, I thought rust would be a problem, but I have not had any. Just standard care has kept it clean. I did however recently replace the front sight with a Firesight and found a hidden treasure trove of filth in the gap under the sight block... like somebody had used her to dig up taters...

What's with that pistol grip?  Is it home made?

I also have one of those pistol grips, and I'm very unhappy with it. No mater how you work it, it just doesn't look professional. I say either leave the pistol grip off or devise a stock with one built in. But then again, what the hell do I know?...lol
