Top Gun Ammo
« on: March 12, 2021, 01:22:46 PM »
I recently ordered from Top Gun Ammo, and am very happy with them.

https://www.topgunammo.com/

Their shipping is higher than some others, especially if you reside in the western states, but it was just $3 more than SGAmmo  to ship to Kentucky.  They had 00Buck in stock  (and still do) for $29/25 rounds, which is pretty good these days.  Their shipping was very fast, I had my ammo dropped 3-4 days after ordering.

These folks my be giving SGAmmo a run for their money.  I will definitely consider buying more from them in the future, especially if they have items in stock that I can't find elsewhere.

Maybe they had some pricing increases lately...I just checked them out and a box of Wolf 380 was $34.99

I mainly bought shotgun shells, and they had a better deal at the time.  SGAmmo's shotgun shell prices are back down to reasonable prices. They have Sellier Bellot for $18.95 for 25 rounds of 00 buck.

They've got plenty of .380.

I find decent deals at Target Sports USA from time to time. True Shot Gun Club also seems to have a lot of deals on a weekly bases as well.

SG ammo used to be cheaper, they don't seem as much anymore.
Did you know "SKS" is spelled the same forward and backward

Yep, ammoseek.com. Seems to be about the only source for primers.

Online ammo selling is a highly competitive business. Everyone makes money when its tight, but many struggle when supply catches up and the price falls.  New higher shipping rates don't help either.

The shipping is killing it for me and I’m sure many others. I used to buy a lot from Super Vel and Arms Unlimited who used to offer free shipping on all case quantities. Now it’s like $40.00 or $50.00 for a case of 9mm.

I’ve been a member with target sports USA for the last two years. For $99.99 a year you get 8% off all orders and free shipping in any quantity. It pays for itself especially if you hunt or have a lot of calibers you like to occasionally shoot but don’t stock pile. I can order a box of .308 and not pay more or the same for shipping. If you have a friend or family member that shoots a lot and you split the cost of the membership it’s a good option.
