Florida State University shooting

2 dead another 6 wounded as of now.

Suspect in custody Phoenix Ikner, 20 year old student at  the school.

Unfortunately common anymore, as with the pollicization of it before bodies are cold and calls for disarming everyone, again.

But we will see how fast this goes dark in the news,  the mother of the shooter was a sheriff deputy, and at least 1 weapon was hers.

Not only that according to the sheriff,  (McNeil) "that as a member of the sheriff's office Youth Advisory Council, Ikner has been engaged in a number of training programs that we have.  So it's not a surprise to us that he had access to weapons, McNeil says."

Kind of kills the whole argument of properly trained and vetted people should only be allowed to be armed.

Experience is the hardest kind of teacher, it gives the test 1st and the lesson after.

Courage is knowing it may hurt and doing it anyway.
Stupidity is the same.

They'll just change the argument to only the proper people need them, along with safe storage, and mental aptitude checks for those in the home or something along those lines. The libs have absolutely no limit to their line of poor thinking.

Like a sheriff deputy or auxiliary?  Yes we know they will just shift and redefine terms to suit, but anyone with an IQ above room temp sees it for what it is.  It is a little surprising how many that seems to exclude now, but at least they are becoming more of a minority.

And I will say that even being I am maybe one of the stronger critics who is on the rational side of TDS of Trump at times, it is nice to have president who summarily dismisses even lip service to gun control post shooting events.

You say this, but the dems still lap it up like its milk and honey whenever the conversations goes to firearms, they instantly devolve into democrat talking points.

Some do, but dems are bleeding voter base, in part just because their standard go to, of gun or speech or thought control, racism and bigotry for nearly every issue.

Look at what's happening in the Austin Metcalf case.  The left has rallied around the murderer, funded his family and defense fund, had media allies echo their spin the assailant was the victim, and now are targeting the real victims family who publicly showed forgiveness and empathy for the assailants family as they profit from the crime.  Think that is playing well across the board?   I'm sure it is among the race baiting Karens, but they are not getting dems elected anymore.
