Does Anybody Collect Arisaka Training rifles?
« on: March 10, 2020, 10:49:59 PM »
I thought all trainers were the same. Old shot out Arisaka rifles all mis-matched then turned into trainers.
Then you got your all original, always meant to be a trainer rifle, that shoots blanks only?
Are there trainers that don't function at all?
What are these rifles going for these days, and are they collectible?

When the SHTF you better already have it at hand, because it won't be on the shelves when you get to the Wal-Mart land.

I had a few of the trainers,  along with the trainer bayonets,  a while back, but sold them all

I also had some of those WW2 U.S. Paris-Dunn  03 Springfield trainers,  and one of those U.S. Navy welded up 03A3 rifles in the brown polymer stock.

Sold them all off a few years ago,  along with collection of different Type 99 Japanese rifles.

I've got a T38 carbine that was allegedly a school trainer. PAX
