Lots of cool stuff coming out of shot show this year. PSA is making a number of them kicking it off with a STG44 clone, or at least damn near close to it.

Wouldn't that have made utilizing a standard AR upper quite a bit more difficult and costly? Another question from what I noticed in the video; Does it look like it has a proprietary BCG to work with the lever and not extend too far back?

So, what "problem" is this "solution" going to fix?

Legality in some states is the big one I imagine.  It's a fresh and new take on an old design.  Neither of those would draw me, but I suspect there will be those it will.

Honestly, I'm not impressed with either. I do however, like the Ruger "mini30" in x39. Almost bought one several years ago. The guy selling it was an ass. I saw no reason to give him my money even if it was the only one for sale at the gun show. I passed. I checked as we were leaving. He still had it. How goes the old honey and bees jingle go?

I guess you could get one of those in every caliber you want, or just get the one best caliber.
I never had a lever gun.  I like the looks of the Henry.

Many see the AR as a 5.56 pew pew pew gun.
Or now with all the attention to braces as a do it all AR pistol.
With so many caliber options out there, in AR-15 and AR10 styles having different uppers sounds OK to me.
Real hunting calibers or 1000 yard target ARs instead of the 5.56.
Some of mine are even single shot ARs :)

Of course you have to buy optics for each upper.

I guess a Glock in 6.5 Grendel super short sub-sonic with a 7" barrel and a brace would solve most of the unsolved gun problems :)

These 760 actions were the jewel of the Remington line and with a 223 bore in the basic 30 cal barrel OD, they shoot as good as any bolt gun. Difference is you could make the AR pump look alot more svelte that Rem's hodge podge 7615.

That is a nice looking rifle.  Not cheap, but being it the jewel of the line, probably worth it.

The AR is probably the most popular format since the lever action .30-30.  But that's the point.  The AR lower is the GUN, and many variations of uppers can be fit to the same lower.  Some good for one purpose, some for another, but seldom is one suitable for all roles.

In some of the harder hitting calibers, rapid mag dumps, while fun, aren't practical for things like hunting or many variations of shooting sports.
I think the lever action AR lower will sell, if not priced too high, to those that already have a large assortment of firearms.
Just one more slot in the safe.
