 It with great sadness that I must tell you that our friend Glenn Cotty, known here as Rocketvapor, has passed away.

 Glenn was a long time member here, as well as a friend to many, and he will be missed.

  He is survived by his wife of many years, Flo, to whom our thoughts and prayers go out.

   Glenn and Flo were a fixture at our Shoot events , and many of us have fond memories of times with him at the range and in camp.

   Fly high, Glenn, we miss you.

Oh no, this is terrible news.  RV was a great guy, and a lovely person.  The first time I met him at one of the shoots he gave me my signature line when he turned to me during dinner and said, "So, you're the one they call Cesar."  I loved hanging out with him and Flo.  I was hoping we could find some way to re-start the camping events so we could see him (and several others) again.  I know a few of the guys here passed by to see him on their way through Louisiana, but I never got the chance.  He'll be sorely missed.

Flo, my condolences, please know that Glenn was beloved by all and we'll never forget him (or you).

Damn.  RV was one of my favorite people on the forum.  I didn't know him in person, but he always had something interesting to post, and a great sense of humor.  He was always quick to help others out, and often took the time for a lengthy explanation to help someone with an issue.  He didn't just reply, he would give photos, diagrams, and a clear explanation of what to do.  His intellect was legendary.

Glenn, I didn't know you in the flesh, but I feel like I lost a friend.

Rest in peace, Sir, you will be sorely missed.  My condolences to those of you who were fortunate enough to know RV in person, and of course to Swamp Lady Flo.

One of the truly good guy's. Loved RV's wit. As JJKY pointed out, he was always on top of solutions. so much so, he gave me his phone number to chat about a few different things.

  Condolences to Flo and fam. It was a pleasure to know Glenn.

Hey guys, I know it's hard sometimes to know who we're talking about if we only met at the Clewiston shoot, as they get rather crowded.  Here's the last picture I have with Glenn (RV).  He and Swamp Lady happened to be standing next to me at the group shot of the last of the events I attended (maybe the last one we had). 

Picture attached.    This was October 2018 BTW.  A few months later I headed out to Atlanta and then the next one was cancelled and COVID cancelled any later ones.
