Anybody ever seen on like this before? It takes single stack Romanian AK mags. It's up for sale and caught my eye.

I think it's cool. If much cheaper than a RAR I have one. If the mags are the same, I've got some single stack WASR10s (I think) PAX

AIA, special interest arms and a few others have done K conversions before. I can't recall if they did the mag as well though.

Yeah, this is a first for me. I've seen the mausers and Arisakas, but never an Enfield. Price at this time is $400 so a little under the RAR price. Isn't that cheek rest basically the same as the T-4 sniper?

Dang thing jumped from $400 to $555 after I made my last post. Guess I'll be keeping my Ruger, LOL.

Ugh, don't remind me.

Special Interest Arms used to make these well as 45ACP conversions using 1911 magazines.  Many years ago they'd sell it as either a kit that would require some fitting/machining or the full service if you provided a host rifle.  When they were making these I hoarded up those single stack mags while trying to get a good Enfield for them to convert for me.  Eventually I managed to get two partial Enfields that I was going to send them to see if they could make me one functional rifle, but by the time I was ready to move on it, they'd discontinued their 7.62x39 conversions and were only focusing on the 45ACP work.  Now I'm stuck with two partial Enfields and a whole lot of single stack AK mags that I have no use for.  I may try to try to put together one working Enfield someday but I've been reticent to add another new caliber just now.

BTW, As of right now it's up to $900.   :banghead:

Yeah, I just got home and saw that. And now with only 2 hours left. Wondering if it might bump up another $100 before it's done. I was out at $450, LOL.

Well, it went for $900 so about twice as much as you'd been willing to pay.

I really wish I'd moved quicker on this back when they were making them.
