Some Chinese rear sight leafs have a hollow pivot pin with a smaller solid pin that goes through it. You have to remove the smaller pin (1/16" punch IIRC) in order to remove the sight leaf. It also still has to be depressed while pushing back to get it out.
As for the bolt, it usually works best to strip it down then soak it. I usually strip a bolt down and spray it with brake cleaner (eye protection is a must), but not sure what you have a vailable up north.

Well, the rear site itself is not very oil covered or anything it seems but I I like to take everything apart and make sure I get a good thorough cleaning of everything when I get a rifle. Another member suggested that I should maybe just take some hot boiling water and pour it over top to get any of the oil and grease off of it and then take some compressed air and just blow dry it.

As for the bolt, it seems that it?s extra sticky like it?s been covered in oil for a long time or the previous owner did a half cleaning job on it and didn?t really fully clean it as some of the oil is like brown dried up and really really sticky. I?m not sure if maybe I should just take the entire bolt assembly and let it soak in some mineral spirits overnight or for a few hours or if I should maybe let it sit in some hot boiling water to help loosen up any of the sticky oil junk that?s inside of it as that pen I pounded on it and I could not get that darn little thing to move no matter what I tried for about 30 minutes and then I gave up due to frustration and yeah, we do have brake cleaner available here in Canada, but they have put regulations up against brake cleaner and WD-40 now that the harsh chemicals have now been pulled out of them so you basically almost like clean with water lol

Here is a method I came up with many years ago to get the retainer pins out of the bolt using the c-clamp style front sight adjusting tool. Find the correct bolt (M12 IIRC) and grind the end down to size (3/32" or 1/8" IIRC) and about 1/2" or so long. Then use it as a press making sure the clamp part doesn't interfere with the flat head of the pin. Has never failed to get off the toughest retainer pins. Here's pics;

Well here some pics lol maybe I?ll soak the bolt assembly in hot boiling water and see if it lossens it up, but the darn retaining pin won?t budge at all.  Some spots are filthy and others not to bad.

Yep, looks like baked on dried up cosmoline to me. Soak it and try again, if it still won't break loose try my method, use a press, or get a bigger hammer.

BTW, if it hasn't been taken apart before, the first time is always hardest.

A solid surface, the proper size drift punch and a big ass hammer are your friends here.

Well I soaked it in boil hot water with a few other parts and man the oil just starting floating lol was kind of gross ! None the less most came somewhat clean just wiping em off. The darn cross pin still didn?t wanna move and I thinking maybe it?s never been out before, I ended up sacrificing a little Allen key and cut the bent part off to make a small headless punch and used it to press the pin out in my vise. Used a large socket for the cross pin head part to pass through without damage. None the less I got it apart finally hahaha

It was suggested to me that after it?s all cleaned up and if the pin is still super tight that I should Use some wet sand paper like 4-600grit and just shave a bit so it goes in and out a bit easier but still tight

I wouldn't, It is supposed to be a press fit. Most of what made it stick so hard is time and cosmoline. Every cleaning in the future will be easier. Save your new tool and use it every time.

Yea I figured it would likely be alright once it cleaned and all reassembled as it shouldn?t be sticky anymore at all lol, so should go in and out like butter now I would think

Well I reassembled most of the rifle minus putting everything into the stock as I need to bleed out the oil from the stock with my wood stove tomorrow hopefully the heat will help some come out and clean easier.

Cross pin was tight as heck going back together tho again, definitely will need to press it out next time it comes apart for any cleaning.  Mind you everything moves freely though.  Couple weird marks on the action assembly and was thinking about maybe polishing it out to have a shine clean look to it.  Personal preference is all lol
