Hi Guys my name is Erick from Quebec Canada , thanks for letting me join . my Ruger carbine just got banned by my wonderful government and as a result I purchased a "new " Chinese SKS . I don't hunt but do to range once a month . I chose the SKS for the cheap amo and the simplicity of the riffle .

Welcome from Kentucky USA!  Sorry to hear about the Ruger carbine being put on the banned wagon.  We're allowed to have them, but there's no longer anything cheap about buying and shooting the SKS down here any longer.

This is a good group of folks here, and a great place to learn.
