Sure they have. If it's in "unissued" condition, the Gas Valve is simply too long, and you'll never get the hand guard/gas tube down into position. They are intended for the many other 59/66s that have been used and abused and put to bed dirty.

But we'll fix it for you. Just mail it to us and we'll machine it closer to original specs and then it should fit fine. .005 to .010 material removal is all that is needed.

Ordered one of the gas valves with the allen head bolt shipping was fast. It was a little tight getting the gas tube in but I was glad it was. I was having stovepipe issues Im hoping the new valve fixes that, haven't had a chance to go out to the range yet.

I wished I would have came back to this thread for a follow up, just to be more clear on why I was asking. I am in no way having a problem with a product of yours, in fact I have yet to order the gas valve. I was inquiring trying to decided if I needed the over size valve that you guys offer or the standard valve that is offered. I'm not real sure....That's why I ask if there was ever any fittment with the over sized valve.

One thing for sure....seeing how you guys offer your service/tech advice to all here on the board and always chime in with help when a product of your is being asked about says a lot for your customer service. That a lone has earned my business....Thank You & look forward to doing business with you!

Glad to be of service.

If the Gas Block on your gun has been damaged any at all, especially the area around the edges of the holes and slots, inserting the Gas Valve can be problematic. But a small round file removing these inward facing burrs can easily remedy that. If the gun is in "unissued" condition, and the gas tube/hand guard does not have any forward/backward movement, installing the Gas Valve is no problem, but the gas tube/hand guard may then have too tight a fit to go back into position. (we have machined our "oversized" GV to original length on request)

If you're having ejection issues while using an original magazine, (not a metal aftermarket detachable) it is likely the culprit is a leaky gas system and our Valve does a good job at fixing that.
