Sorry, but I am new to this sight and possibly being over cautious.
But failure to clean the cosmoline can cause the firing pin to stick forward - especially in cold weather'
The stuck firing pin creates a condition.
The regulation is #15

15: No discussion of FA conversion to firearms OR ANY OTHER ILLEGAL ACTIVITY.

I have a little experience (all legal) on this topic.

Your caution is appreciated; however, advising someone that having a firing pin that is jammed due to debris in the channel, and that having the rifle in that condition could cause a dangerous situation in which the rifle will begin to discharge in an uncontrolled fashion is not a "discussion of illegal activity"......

I would very much like to know your legal experience and how you could possibly derive from your experience how explaining to someone how to free up a firing pin to prevent malfunctions could POSSIBLY be interpreted as an illegal activity.

Just ordered a murray's pin/spring for my 1969 yugo, so glad i found this.  Is it really as simple as switching it out with the other pin?  or do I need to modify anything to make it work/fit?

Yes, it's that simple. No modifications required.
