I see an immediate problem. He didnt use vise blocks or something to possiblly take steps in preventing barrel damage. You can also dremel in a cut using a cutoff wheel and use heat to soften things up. Did this plenty of times in the FALs during barrel removal.

That's really a good and concise video. I like the Jethro size adjustable wrench.

There are bronze  covers over the vise jaws they are a lot softer than the barrel,  these work great, no marks and grips real tight.  We did use heat on  the first one we did , and seemed to help,  cutoff wheel would be great for a stubborn receiver.  sure is nice to feel it crack loose   sorry for the knobby knees

Looks eerily familiar.   8)    And you two were having way too much fun!

As you alluded, not all will want to come with just a grunt from the wrench, and heat might be needed.  I nearly started to "round" the flats on one when I used a cheap wrench.  That's when I asked to borrow a Snap-on and it saved the day with a little heat added to the receiver stub.

It would be an honor if you would allow me to add the video (with credits, of course!) to this tutorial as well as looking for another home for it.

Excellent video!  Where can I get a set of those bronze vice jaw covers for my vice?

That's a horrible vid. Saps like me get suckered in when you make it look so easy.  Good vid. Don't know if you want to chip in the bits about eye protection, safety first in the shop, etc., but that's all I saw that struck me as a potential improvement.  8)

Looks good Fragger.

Make sure you vice is securely bolted to a stout work bench before you use a wrench like that.

Don't ask me how I know.
