Yahoo/Att.net email accounts-RANT

Anybody else have a Yahoo or Att.net email account? After I updated to Windows 11 I started having issues with certain emails coming across in code instead of the GUI interface. Now as of 2 days ago I can't login and I can't reset my password either. I have seen where others have this issue, but nobody seems to have a solution yet.
This was an email address I've had since I had SBCGlobal with a land line which switched over to Att.net then went to what they called an open loop email since I quit using AT&T.
My understanding is Yahoo is having issues in general as well so I don't think it is just my setup. Since it is run by Yahoo/Currently.com now AT&T has no help for this issue.
If anyone has more info on this I'd appreciate it. I fear it may just be time to move to a different email though.

Yahoo no longer runs Secure Socket Layer. SSL. So the HTTPS no longer works right. WIN11 should be blocking it, as it's a huge security issue. Get a better email. I suggest Google.

Yeah, I think that is what's happening as well as the OS on my iPhone because it quit working on there as well.

I decided to roll everything over to my Gmail and outlook email accounts I already have. Spent all day yesterday changing over user accounts that were linked to the Att.net email. What a PITA

Iphone's run on goggle email. So if you link to a google email, all your contacts, settings and most apps will back up to google. If you ever loose your iPhone or get a new one, just point the iPhone email to google, and all (mostly all) apps, settings, and contacts will load over automatically. Also, logging into iCloud (if you use it or not) will also port over some information. You can do this all on Wifi with no sim, on a non activated device. So, if you have a separate device that you want to use as a "tablet" you can just link it to gmail, and your stuff comes over.

I recommend going to a secure, privacy enhanced service like Proton.  Encrypted, based on Switzerland.  They can’t access your emails and can’t recover your account if you lose your password.  Also has VPN and other features with a paid subscription.
