Just for fun, figured I'd start a thread for pictures that WE took.  Not found, but actually taken be YOU.  Not your Brother-In-Law, your boss, YOU

Maybe even some technical details of the shot setup.
You know, like 30 inch selfie stick, in the shade.

I'm going to mostly use PB until it disappears then probably use Flicker, until it disappears, then IMGUR

Here's a couple Macro shots I did today.
The Pentax K-r, a 28-70 lens, and about 20mm of extension rings.
The lens is an Autofocus but used pure manual on the rings. 
Settings:  30mm focal length, f6.3, 1/250, ISO 400





I keep trying to get a Dragonfly shot with enough resolution to show the individual eye lenses.
Not yet.  This one was shot with a reversing ring and a 28-80mm lens on the K-r.

Took these just a few minutes ago out where I work. The two larger ones are the same as the small ones. Enlarged and screenshoted'ed.

Yes my phone.

We were about 20-30 feet away. My partner spotted him and drove right up there to him. Did the same thing a couple of weeks ago to a red tail hawk sitting on a plane but he flew off before we could get close. We have a lot of wild life out where I work. Lots of hawks, owls, coyotes, bunnies, squeaks, pigeons, snakes etc. I've seen a couple of bobcats over the years. We had a buck that managed to get in there last year.

Come on folks
I don't want to hog this thread. I know some of you guys have great photog skills.
Here's one I did last night with the FZ70 (with flash).

We put out seeds and nuts and corn for the birds and squirrels, and dog food for the coons at night.
Resized and uploaded to Photobucket.


and another FZ70 shot taken at Fort Pickens.
Program mode, full zoom, f5.9, 1/160sec, ISO 400.
I sharpened and reduced this in Photoshop (Elements 8 )
