Nice chromed AK (update for Dague)

Dague IM'ed me this the other day, from Iraq.  He's holding what I think is a really nice chrome job on a short-barrelled 7.62 AK with an underfolder.  They even chromed the magazine nicely.  Anyway, no, Dague doesn't get to keep it.  Apparently this AK was a gift from Saddam Hussein to someone who made him happy, and it later wound up siezed in a raid:



He'll probably be back Stateside in another couple of weeks, but they shift around his return date periodically.

As for why I've not been around lately - work has decided that we're having a 40% or so layoff in my department, and that decisions will be made once a month or so, based on whoever puts inthe least work.  So, we're all competing against each other to hold onto our jobs.  Doesn't leave a lot of time for board lurking.

looks like the slant brake on that pimpin' krink is on upside down. THAT should help muzzle rise, LOL! :D

If I owned that AK I'd have to lower my 4WD Toyota so the undercarraige dragged on the ground, put some 26" chrome rims and low profile tires on it that stick out the sides of the fenders 4", get me some bling-bling and a gold toof. Actually, I could really USE a gold Toof right now...
