I was thinking the same thing Ghost, probably not the wisest thing to do.

The text for that forum field is entitled "personal text".  I figure the original poster thought he was supposed to enter his "personal text number", and not his "presonalized profile text".  I removed it for his privacy.  He can re-add it if he really wants to display his text number to the world to see.

Howdy and welcome from your neighbor in Kansas City, MO. Both sides of my family are from OK, west and southwest of OK City.

As to your SKS start a thread in the workbench/projects section and post pics of your SKS (specifically the bent barrel) I have a method to straighten a barrel out without having to remove or replace it depending on how bad it is.

Greetings, I?m new here. I?m a 69 year old Okie currently living in Cleora on Grand Lake in NE Oklahoma. My passion is with old military rifles; M1?s, M1 carbines, AK-47, Mosin Naguants, etc. I do hold a C&R license. I recently acquired an old SKS. It is in pretty bad shape it has a bent barrel. I love shooting my AK so I want to rebuild this old girl and see how it compares to my AK.
