I have a bunch of 9mm rounds that look to be mil spec. Think I’ve posted about these before. Anyway, I don’t know much about them except they were in the stash of my dads and he probably got them from my uncle. My father did not own a 9mm so I’m not sure why he had em. I also found that they don’t work well in my shield (1.0). Don’t know if it’s the age of these or the hardness of the primer. The primer was struck pretty hard and no boom.

As you can see I pulled the bullets and weighed them and the powder. The cases are berdan primed, least wise I think so. The case has two flash holes so the cases are not usable to me. Not sure of how to dispose of these primed cases.
Bullet weights ranged from 98.5 to 99.4 grn with an average of 98.8 out of ten rounds pulled. It will be interesting to see the velocity of these. Powder was pretty consistent @ 5.7 to 6.0 grn for a 5.85 average ( most were 5.8, 5.9).
Gonna work these up and see how they go. Not sure how many of these I have but it’s prob 2-300. Almost free ammo!
