Here is the muzzle brake that fits FSB. https://www.ebay.com/itm/224071994414
The exit hole diameter is 22mm. The front of the FSB is 21.5mm.

The first attempt at the shooting range was unsuccessful, likely because the gas block was not being installed correctly, resulting in reduced gas flow. After taking 20 manual single shots, a shell became stuck inside the chamber, so I will have some extra work to do. The new setup has been made with one of my spare Yugo rifles.
Also, I removed the Yugo short barrel and adjusted the gas block along with the chamber honing but I'm not sure if I will put it back because the Russian barrel is in excellent condition and will fit perfectly with some tricks.

The barrel with the pitted bore and the frozen gas valve in the grenade launcher position  :) will be replaced on my second receiver and stored until the new project begins.

I replaced the defective Yugo barrel with a good Russian one. The project involving the Yugo receiver and the Russian barrel setup is complete.

Today, the Yugo-Russian SKS received more modifications. The FSB was pinned, and the barrel was threaded with M14x1 LH. The rifle now has two options: a bayonet or a muzzle brake.

Tomorrow, another attempt will be made at the shooting range. The two SKS rifles, one an underfolder with a Yugo action and the other Yugo-Russian will be tested.
The new project " Colapsible, sliding, retractable stock" has began.

Both rifles were operational on the shooting range but experienced jamming due to the chambers not being cleaned.
More adjustments are required.

I tried to sell Albanian stock but was unsuccessful. Therefore, I am starting a new project to convert Albanian stock to standard stock by cutting the front piece of wood to a total length of 29 1/4 inches.

Dude do NOT modify that Alby stock.  Place it up for trade here for the type of stock you want.  I'm sure there are plenty of guys with what you need that would take that stock off your hands.  Heck, I have several stocks and if nobody else offers up, I'd take it off your hands even though I don't (yet) own an Alby SKS.

Seriously, don't deface that beauty.

I don't believe this Albanian stock is original. I bought it at a local gun show for $15. I'm not interested in trading items whose authenticity hasn't been verified. Therefore, the best use for this stock is for some projects.
A lot of adjustments were necessary before the Yugo SKS action fit correctly. The corrosive gas valve on the Yugo SKS has been fixed. I had to remove the gas block from the barrel and soak it in penetration oil for three days. Finally, the valve was removed and cleaned.

My kids' Christmas gift has arrived. This gift is a nice addition to my M70 AK and SKS stock, as it will significantly reduce the length of pull on my underfolder SKS.
