Send some of that down my way will ya?   We're back in the 80's today.  I actually miss the weather in GA.  It could get cold, but not normally enough to kill you.

We bottomed out at -14 at my place last night.
Not as cold as a lot of others and still not a lot of snow or wind.
Just hope we all get thru this safely.

Looking at the weather map temp plots I'm seeing a lot of low teens along the gulf coast and I'm sure that just is miserable down there for them.

 We actually moderated back to 20 above for lows last night, if not for the ferocious wind, it would be pleasant for this time of year, being at least above freezing for highs.  Warmer than a lot of places much farther south and east of us right now. The average is about 40 and lows about 10 above for Jan IIRC.  Unfortunately we get the WY wind, supposed to be 50mph gusts today.

Hard to believe the temps even south of us and into Florida.
Looks like we'll bottom out at 12F in a little while.

Well, if it makes you feel better, you will see 70s months before us.

Next effort will be to thaw the truck out.
38F and sunshine should help.
Maybe head up to the local Super Walmart and do donuts in the parking lot
Glad we didn't lose power.  Started the generator day before yesterday just in case.
Flowing water with the pressure well was comforting.
Even had a couple coons come out for food last night.
Temperature (15F) is now going UP !!!

It hit -15 last night, no windchill included in that mess. Apparently has frozen over in DC and is affecting the nation.

 It got all the way down to 44 degrees here last night, and it's still pretty cold tonight at 47 degrees
