Paratrooper sight is the finishing touch...

The sight is great piece of hardware but, I have to admit, I had some difficulty installing the site barrel.  The directions clearly state the hole may need to be opened up with a drill, a point I underestimated from the start.  I did read the word "honing" and had it in my thick skull minimum metal removal, when in actuality mine required about 1/64" on the top/bottom of the hole.

Unfortunately, by the time I was done with several forceful attempts, I had marred the sight and ended up having to file/sand and cold blue it.  It does fit well on the gun and is very secure.  To be honest, it kind of has that "battle-worn" look that matches my classic Chinese.   8) 8)

Thanks to Darin and Cheryl for great customer service.

Looks good. I too had trouble getting the base in. But I got mine used/new and didn't read the directions until I buggered it up. I can save it though. I like those P50 sites. With the Williams it's a perfect sight picture for me. PAX

Nice Alby PAX.   Maybe I should thread mine, hadn't thought about a comp.   :)

PAX:
It's not an Alby. It's a project gun I've built to shoot monolithic boolits here in Kali, when they ban lead. Alby bolt carrier, 5 round mag, Williams peep, P50 front, Tri-Delta brake, all in a Choate Drag. Turned out pretty cool and handles even better. PAX

Why not Tech Sights vs. the Williams peep?
