Back safe and sound, tired and with a few new aches and pains, but happy. (Actually got in Sunday afternoon, but work stuff took over and I was buried until now)
What a great shoot! Thanks to Ranger and his family and all of the volunteers that made this such a great event! My only regret is that I waited until this one to make it.
The food was amazing, the campsite was wonderful and the Campfires were the best (glad I waited until Sunday to destroy the fire circle, one of my several newbie moves).
Even though I was a newbie, y'all made me feel welcome. I feel like I gained a whole bunch of new friends (and a few pounds from all of Eric's good food and drink).
The competitions were a blast! They taught me that I still have much to learn, but they were fun to do. I felt good just getting a non-zero score in the SKS Rifle Competition. Next time I am bringing my Mosin so I can do that competition too.
Ivan that Drone footage is amazing! Good piloting and great camera work. Good edit with the stills and the music.
I am hooked now, can't wait until March!
