Now that we've gotten that out of our system (rimshot!) let's get ready for the weekend.

Well, I've had no luck with my preparations at all.  Haven't been able to load any ammo or go to the range to sight in the new rifle.  I've put myself on a strict schedule for the next couple of days that should at least allow me to load some ammo, but unless I can sight in the new rifle AT the range (I'll try but it's unlikely), I'll probably have to use the AR I used last time again.

That is if I make it for the Friday comps at all.  I'm going to be working Thursday to make up for missing Friday so I won't be able to head over there Thursday night (again).  I should have enough time to load up the car and leave it ready so I'll try to head out on Friday morning.  With some luck I'll be able to make it there for the Friday long distance events like last time.

Either way, I'll be there at some point, though for the first time I'll be all alone.

For the first time in awhile, I'll have a new pistol to try out..
I'll be picking up a reasonable assortment of brews from the growler shop on Wednesday. They'll be going in the Mexican Yeti for the trip down, which should keep them plenty cold.

I'll sight it in for you, don't even bring that ole AR you used last time. And Rocket can help you set your tent up so he can be sure you rest real good for Friday.


Just got home from Georgia. Tossed out the dirty clothes and will start packing stuff in tonight, I hope. I had to run the AC while in Georgia and looks like we will need the heater in south Florida, I can't wait. I might just leave all my guns at home and do nothing.

 Thursday evening we will be making our final trip to town for supper at the Log Cabin BBQ and any last minute items from the store.....

 Also, as usual we will have some time on the 450 range for folks to get sighted in if need be without the rush of the Friday morning zero time.....

  Thanks;

  They are calling for "scattered thunderstorms " (which means that it may or may not rain where we are, and if it does it will be a hit and run type storm, which beats all day rain); if you bring that canopy, and we all bring rain coats, it won't rain a drop, so bring it......

  And if by chance a little rain does fall on us, we will as we always do, still have a great time....
