I blame Eric and his rifle class. I remembered my NPOA and had time to actually get ready. I saved my target, and then lost it somewhere. Those 3 10 ring shots were pretty good if I say so myself. Thought maybe you shot my target. I think my blowing up a pumpkin I couldn't see was equally impressive, even if it was a little late. 

These are all fun and games but it really does make us a better shooting group. I have had really good scores in the past and not even made the final. For that, we are all winners.

Hey RV, thanks for posting the SKS comp video.  Man, your camera was right in my line of sight. I had to keep forcing myself from aiming at it while shooting!   

It brought back memories of how badly my rifle/ammo combination failed me.  I also like how the film got the shot of me almost tripping at the end right before bending over in front of the camera to pick up my rifle sock.  Man, I really need to lose weight. 

BTW, was there moisture around the middle of the lens, or was it trying to focus on the wrong thing?

LOL. Man, you really got that one on there!  Great vids anyway. 

So, did everyone get their stuff cleaned and oiled before rust set in? I had a bit of a photo finish on my end.

I flooded everything at the range with WD40 for the long drive home. 
So far everything looks OK.  I will break down everything, especially the vintage guns to check below the wood line.

I'm waiting for when I can afford one of those drones that follows you around to use during the combat marksman comp.

I would have brought my cheap drone but doing extra things is so distracting.  I get a bit of tunnel vision when I shoot and distractions are distracting

Brought the guns in, Flo did a dozen loads of clothes, but the trailer is still loaded and hooked up. 
Pulled in, parked. 

She'll probably get on my arse to get off my arse and get it all unloaded in a day or so.

You are correct.  I used to go and try to get all types of video, but those are the kinds of things that kept me from actually shooting.  This time around, I came with all my mags loaded and targets ready to go.  I was going to prepare some bleeding zombie targets beforehand but didn't have time so I ignored that as it would have just gotten in the way.  Overall, my plan would have worked if it wasn't for the rain.

Same here.  Believe it or not, I'm still drying stuff out.  I dried out all the big stuff (tent, air mattress, etc) and did all my clothes, but as I was putting my mags away last night, I noticed that the inside of my big range bag was damp so I emptied it out completely, dried off everything inside that was damp and put the bag open inside my car.  I parked the car outside today so everything should be nice and dry by the time I get back to it after work.

I did about four loads of laundry, and had to clean out my shoes and my boots, then polish and re-wax the boots.  I had to dry out and re-wax my wallet and key case too as they're made of leather.  The wallet's pretty much had it, will probably have to replace it soon.  I also managed to find the (big) hole in the air mattress so I'll have to fix that one, but at least it's better than not being able to find it.  Once I'm done with all of that I'll have to get to re-sealing my tent. 

Then I have to work on preparing my gear for March.
