Once again, a 'mass shooting'

27 year old, apparently man a history of mentally illness drove from his home in Las Vegas to NYC went into a building in Manhattan, shot 4 people and then himself.  He used a PSA AR-15, with what looks like a suppressor.  Carrying ID including his CC card from Nevada.  Gun controllers are giddy,  because you know sensationalized "gun violence" make great revenue generation for them.

 No surprise its immediately politicized by media and politicians alike.

CNN immediately reported a white male had done it, but turns out he's a little more brown toned than that. They are also focusing on the poor NYC off duty cop who was working security being an immigrant with a family.  That is a tragedy, just not anymore so than the other victims.

Can't even go to a concert with your girlfriend.

He had a Las Vegas concealed carry permit.
He was being treated, evidently for quite some time, for a mental condition that is known for violent/suicidal behavior.
Those two things don't reconcile.
Someplace this morning, there's a doctor who contributed to this tragedy.

Somehow, the medical community has to get on board and do their part. They simply can not keep hiding behind HIPPA laws.

I was watching CNN last night when this broke. They showed the guy's picture and described him as "white male" and I rolled. Even with my bad eyes I could see they were full of it.

There were at least 5 I heard of in the last couple days all over the news. If anything we know shootings happen daily, but they refuse to report them due to motives, propaganda reasons, or ratings.

I imagine they thought this was going to be their MAGA whipping boy, but turned out to be a 'person of color' so ends up being the live action version of a meme.  Of course its always the guns,  i.e. our fault regardless.

Governor Hochul wants an assault weapons ban.

Almost the entire City of New York is a Gun Free Zone.

That didn't stop this particular shooter and it hasn't seemed to deter a lot of others.

But a Ban. They'll get onboard with that. Sure thing. Probably start with a buyback program and amnesty.

Maybe they'll get a job in the Government Run Grocery Store.
