What did you do to prep today?

Ordered a Taurus PT 111 G2 ($200 free shipping) today. I already have one and I LOVE it. I kick myself every time I shoot it... because I should have got a second one for my car when the price dropped to $199. Yes, it is that awesome (for $200).

I doubt you will see them again at this price. Kygunco dot com. Or check slickguns dot com and see the few in stock elsewhere are $350+.

I also picked up some more ammo as a retirement investment.

Picked up some fishing weights and swivels to continue working on my catfish noodles.  Going to start out with 18 and probably build 18 more so have 3 dozen.  I figure 3 dozen set out will provide enough fish to feed the immediate family within a couple of hours or if I end up with the extended family living here then 3 dozen should do it for a day at a time.  If you're unfamiliar with catfish noodles just go on youtube and you'll see what I am talking about.  Some of us old timers used to do it with milk jugs which work pretty danged good too.

To stay on the topic - I practiced getting to the new gun safe that I was forced to buy, and loading the gun in it for inmediate use. So far 24 sec. I have to got it under 20...
