5 hour drive for a 58 Romanian?

It looks like there's a 58 Romanian roughly 2.5 hours away from me. The guy wants $300 for it. The pictures show a stock in decent shape with a 3 digit number that matches the receiver and bolt carrier. The other numbers may match but have not been verified with the owner. I have a Russian and a Chinese SKS so it would be nice to add a Romanian to the mix.  Should I make the 5 hour roundtrip?

A 58 Romy for $300?  I'd drive 5 hours for it, that's for sure!!!

Worth it. Most Romy's have at least one ore two mismatched parts.

For $300, yep. Worth the drive for a hundred more.

Dang near ANY complete SKS is worth it. Romulain even sweeter, if it all matched (not common), home run. PAX

I have a 57,58 and 59 romys with all matching numbers. I did have another 59 all matching but the stock and it wasn't numbered at all. the 58 and 59 bolt carriers look to be painted with chrome paint.

I did a drive like that for a yugo with 1000rnd of ammo and accessories. Go for it.  :)
