1958 romanian serial number BC-2
« on: January 22, 2022, 10:52:07 PM »
Jyst came into a 1958 romanian. Serial number is BC-2 1958 dated.
Everything matches except the stock.

Curious if anyone else has a low serial number.

Yea thats an uncommon low serial #, for a uncommonly uncommon number of Romy's produced.
Are Romy's more uncommon than Russian, Yugo, or Chinese SKS's? I would say yup. I have only one
and it's the only Romy that ever crossed my path in the 4 decades of SKS collecting I've been through.
When the SHTF you better already have it at hand, because it won't be on the shelves when you get to the Wal-Mart land.

I've got a couple that are the usual mix-masters, a '59 & a '60, if I remember correctly. They're the only Romys I'd ever seen, so I swept them up, about 10 years ago. PAX
