The only slice of the population that I can realistically see rioting at this point, are those terminally dependant on welfare. If any candidate cuts the flow, he will know it in the streets.

Its only a matter of time before it becomes neccasary to cut the welfare flow

I agree with most on the opinion on Romney.  He's not my first choice.  But at least he is NOT an indoctrinated communist that will try to "fundamentally change the USA".

Bottom line, the choice is between Romney and Obama.  In my book this is a not brainer.

The thing that has me concerned is some of the executive orders that BO has signed.  Then there is the law that has been recently passed that gives the military the right detain and hold US citizens indefinitely without charges or trial.

All the domino's are in line for Martial law for the first time since the civil war.  All that is needed is an "emergency".  I could easily see riots if the election is close, or we have another Gore/Bush type incident.  IMO it won't take much for the commie n chief to turn him self into a dictator, "For the good of the people" of course.

Where are all of the moderate politicians that are willing to work together, like they used to in America's strong days, beyond simple lip service given to compromise & unity?

THAT'S why I think we are in serious trouble. It goes beyond one candidate. It's a game now on which party will win - the winner is never us as a whole.

Agreed, the same 1-2% control whoever is elected.

At one time we had both parties that wanted to do what was best for the country and just had differing ideas of how do it.  Now we have 2 parties bent on accumulating power at the cost of the country, with a few who are obstructing that, that's why nothing gets done, and I am damn glad of it.

When were both parties good.

No riots..,just alot of moaning and groaning by those who's canidate lost and those who didn't bother to vote.    In this election I don't see the American People winning by either candidates election.., we (the middle class and lower class) hmm how I hate saying that, will just shrug it all off and get on with trying to do the best by our families.  It would take something huge and drastic to just get the majority of Americans off thier couch let alone to rock the streets.
I'm sorry if I am coming across all negative, just tired of all the speeches and twisting of truth to the point you can't syphon thru anything.., it's like being on a none stop merry-go-round that you can't get off of....,  Bah, I'm depressing myself    :?

I don't see why people are just blaming Romney for have a vision without more details when Obama does the exact same thing. The differences I have seen between the two is one say we can get out of it and the other person says we need more government help to get out of it.

I'm not sure we have to worry about Obamalama getting re-elected. I here more about how it looks like he likes all the perks of being our Chief Apologist but doesn't want to DO the job that comes with the office. My worry is what he might do between the election and Jan. 20. If we are lucky, he'll be moving into that $35 mill house in Hawaii. At taxpayer expense of course.

How many believe that sometime in the not to distant future, it will be proven that Obamalama isn't a citizen? Now that might be interesting.

Riots? I don't think so, but let the election be very close and watch the screaming fit the D's throw.

You are the first I've heard that is not worried about it.  It's going to be very close by all accounts.

We cannot have a global economy without either elevating all poor nations to our level, or allowing first-world nations to sink to the level of poor nations. There is no way for wages to equalize, unless we bring everyone to the same generally poor standard of living.

That is the plan.

Is anybody else concerned about Obama's close connection with the Muslim Brotherhood and how much they have infiltrated our gov't, so much so they are beginning to influence our laws-or rather, create NEW laws? I mean, really, the guy who made that anti-muslim film gets snatched up and held without bond?  I know he was a scumbag anyway, but, my spidey senses went into overdrive when that happened. Is this an example of what could be awaiting us all if the bozon gets reelected?

I am.  Simply put, we have a traitorious administration lying to the American people and trying to destroy the USA from withen.  All the while the rest of our elected officials are sitting on one of their thumbs while sucking the other one afraid that they will be accused of some politically correct garbage.

They should all be sent to Gitmo.
