Five minutes to bug out!

I would need to get everything in one room. I would then put one gun in each room just inside the door way. Besides that I would have my AK sitting right next to me and the 12ga in my hand. I would want to put a lot of hurtin' on them with each shot so the buckshot and slugs would do just fine for that. Although, if I need it, the fire power would be right there for backup. I think that would be about it. Since they are "superior force" my chances would be very slim of making it out alive. In that case I would try to hold out for as long as I could.

With 800 rounds of 7.62X39 in the garage I would get them immediately and load up all 7 of the AK-47 Magazines as quickly as possible. Then I would make sure all the doors are locked, and try to shove the Entertainment Center, Tables, Chairs, Bookcase, and Couch against the front doors and big Windows. Then the Fridge goes against the back door, if I could do all of this in time I could make it difficult for them to get in. I would hold out as long as I could, but inevitably I would get killed. If I run out I would get gunned down, so at least this way I could bring down some with me.

You know, I have been thinking about Slayer's response. If you could make them have to use only one way like the big sliding glass door in the back. That would give you a huge advantage.

create a safe room that has a secret entrance and in this safe room you must use mylar to shield your thermal image

try to avoid confrontation hide to fight another day if you own your own house design and create a safe room it may even need to withstand shelling and have a fresh air system

if this is not a option dig a spider hole in your yard in advance and hide the entrance

when a threat occurs grab your weapon and jump in said hole

my advice would be hide then strike at the root later

if you choose to make a stand be it known they will burn you out to avoid taking fire from your defensive position this is the operating procedures when they have a stand off now notice the smoke/cs/ps grenades also start fires

The Safe Room would shield you from the Fires, unfortunately once the House is burned it is the only thing standing. So they pretty much KNOW you are in there. I got a Gas Mask I could use with a few Filters, they couldnt Tear Gas me out. Let's clarify who this "superior force" is, JBT's, ATF agents possibly? They did it before at Waco, it's only a matter of time before they do it again. If this happened to me I wouldnt be burned out of my house, I wouldnt hesistate in this situation to make whatever I could, I wouldnt hesitate to try out techniques in the "Anarchists Cookbook" and toss Moltov Cocktails out. ANYTHING that would increase my chance of survival, help me win, or take down more of the enemies trying to kill me I would do.

They rolled Waco with tanks. Gas masks and beer bottles full of gas don't do much against tanks.

Those Tanks pushed down the Wall, shot Tear Gas in, and backed out. If you got the Gas Masks on their Tear Gas wont do ****.

This is assuming I live in suburbia.

Convert Cali-AR to M4gery configuration: 30-45 seconds.
Throw on body armor, sling M4gery, put on trenchcoat over it.  2 minutes.
Put Crimson Trace Sig in pocket, maybe 30 seconds.
Calmly walk out the back door, pop over a fence, and pretend that I don't live anywhere nearby.

If they've planned to take me down but are distracted with my neighbors, then they probably have a clearing plan for my house.  On the other hand, walking down the street, I'm probably just another hobo...

Slayer, I have a project for you.  I want you to grab a stopwatch and your 7 empty AK mags.  Start the stopwatch, run to the garage, and load up all 7 of those magazines.  Stop the watch.  Then report back to us here on the board how long it took you.  I'm interested in what the actual time will be.

Ugh.  Just to see for myself, I just grabbed seven mags, and unloaded them (That took a Looooong time ). I then couldn't find a stopwatch, so I downloaded this one...http://www.stopwatch-timer.com/ What an amazing world we live in, when you can download just what you need in seconds.

Anyways, I left all 210 rounds laying right in front of me, all seven mags to my direct left, and finnished each set by loading one mag into the rifle, then chambering a round. I loaded them three times, and the second set was the fastest at 4:46.07.  Not much time left to do anything else, or move them into a better location.

I guess I will continue to leave six mags loaded at all times.

If you're waiting until the SHTF to even load your magazines, you might as well just go ahead and give up.
