So far I absolutely love the Vepr. Has beautiful wood, fit, and finish. It's nice to see the Vepr's coming back in stock. I went with the leupold VX2 3-9x40, RS Regulate mount, and weaver rings. Can't wait to shoot it over spring break.

Very nice I was just watching a video regarding a 54r Veper a few minutes ago I have been contemplating trading or selling my M1A and replacing it with a Veper since I am heavy invested in surplus ammunition. I also heard a possible insider rumor that Veper/Molot is in the process of setting up shop in the states if that's true then we may be up to our ears in all Veper models.  :thumbleft:

True, but CSSpecs told me that they will continue the vepr x54r mags after they finish the yugo M77 mag project

They are in the works from CSSpecs, yes. But he said in an akfiles post that we are looking at a long wait. I can be patient. The rifle is worth it and the quality mags I bought from them for my vepr 12 have me looking forward to the x54 version.
