Civil war/ has SHTF yet?

I was just wondering if any of you thought if maybe recent, and immediate future problems will cause the civil war/SHTF scenario that John Titor was talking about that is supposed to happen this year (2005)?

Hmm, I had forgotten about John Titor.  Interesting thought!  IIRC he only mentioned that the "civil war" started in 2005 but he didn't mention what started it, did he?  I suppose this could be it.  If one believes his account, anyway.

I don't know if this is enough to put the U.S. over the edge, but if we broke out into a Civil War, I think we would be fighting a two front war. Besides fighting the other side, I think the outsiders would try to come on in for an easy take. Good call though

I dunno, man.  As of today, with the military confiscating weapons from lawful civilians and foreign troops on our soil, I see civil war as a very real possibility this year.  Even if John Titor was a farce, his predictions are starting to look like they're true.

Didn't sleep much last night, thinking about this.  The fact is that we are IN a civil war and are simply not fighting back.  The govt. is disarming us at a record pace and evidently only one little old lady had the courage to resist until they physically took her down.   As sad as it might be, I am hoping that someone does resist and their home is "attacked".  Pretty tough for people, whether liberal, conservative, democrat or republican,  to say that someone was killed "for their own good."

I am NOT a tinfoil hatter.  Neither am I blind.

The flip side is passive resistance hide all weapons/ammo food. Then slip away and forage for the rest of your life. Have ya garnered anything from Iraq there is one lesson the Viet Cong and Islamic extremist have in common. Asymmetrical warfare is horrible period. Slip way. But then again I believe in the red and blue list tin foil hat theorie.

If recent events aren't the spark of the coming revolution, it, at least, is the removal of the lid from the powder keg.

I apologize to all.  I said "civil war" and I meant "revolutionary war".   And frankly, I have come to learn, only recently, that what we call the "civil war" was indeed a "revolutionary war" where the people rebelling were unsucessful.

And what is really sad is that it took me over 60 years to understand.
