First off, I know that this gun will receive a great deal of ridicule from AK purists. Yes, I know that Rob Ski uncovered some issues with head spacing in the C39V2 that he tested. Sure, there are examples of C39V2's that have this issue; however, I have not had these issues. Is every gun an individual? Most probably.
What I have is an example of said rifle that has been 100% reliable, American made, accurate (1-1.5 MOA @ 100 meters), and is still a properly headspaced example of this particular Century Arms AK variant model.
I do not expect everyone to like it. All I expect is for my rifle to serve the purpose I set for it: be reliable, shoot 1-2MOA within 250 meters, and have the ability to be used for CQB and hit targets out to 300 meters with minute-of-man accuracy under duress. That said, I submit to you my C39V2.
For those who are curious, the "leopard print" lined leather rifle case was one I picked up in Iraq on my last deployment. No, it is not real leopard fur (that would be ridiculously expensive and ethically wrong). I do not think you could find one in the US (Sorry kids. Gotta deploy to reap the spoils of war).
Rifle has:
Tapco SAW pistol grip
MOE furniture
MOE cheek riser
Midwest Industries side rail scope mount
4x Primary arms ACSS illuminated reticle scope
Tapco AK74-style muzzle break
knockoff Chinese nylon tactical two-point sling
Let me know what you think!
