I changed out the grips with the biggest rounded set I could find on Ebay. Made a big difference. They hold up pretty good in humid conditions too.

I haven't even started looking yet. Gotta brand name on what you found?

When we went shooting, my Dad was saying I should put bigger grips on everything I have.  My grip modules are mostly on small and I am getting smaller grip for trr8.
I told him about Jerry Miculek and his grip sets.  Jerry puts on smaller grips on his Smith's so he can purchase it faster from a draw more consistently.  I have found that this works for me.  My palm still gets a good purchase, but the difference is my ring and middle finger are able to set onto the grip easier.  I compared it to his motorcycle and it got him thinking.

The molded rubber grip on my snub has been great as far as comfort.  It hides under garments very well without snagging.  The only downside to my snub in a conceal fashion is the hammer.

Well I wasn't really on the market for one but picked up this used poly 605 and two boxes (100) of plus p 38 special for a good deal. Using my hand as a scale poly is half weight of windicator.

I took it out to the range. On junk 158 Wadcutters, it's snappy to shoot but tolerable. It was not as loud as I expected. The muzzle/cyclinder blast was not alarming, certainly not a fireball I had expected. The spread/accuracy sucked. It's not a range gun, it's a "belly gun" for CCW. The intentions I had for the purchase was to be a CCW alternative, with the intention that it sat in the dresser drawer next to the bed. Also, just an "example gun" of a mid caliber revolver (not too small, not too big), that I can had to a newb on range day, "Here, shoot this.", and its not intimidating enough to scare folks away from a wheel gun. The grip is acceptable. I did have to adjust once or twice. I bit my middle finger on the trigger guard. Another guy complained that it was a bit hard on his hand webbing. I'm happy with the purchase. It achieved what I wanted it to do.
