I got about 20 rounds through it, and the pin started slipping again. I'll get a replacement pin from Walther and see what happens.
This is one of the older ones that has the stepped chamber. There is a noticeable rim/edge, where the chamber ends and the rifling starts. Walther said it's a feature that allows the gun to shoot any 22lr ammo. It does eat anything I ran through it. Problem is, I put 100/200 rounds through it, and that edge gunks up quickly with powder and lead fouling. Rounds will not seat all the way in the chamber, I get an FTF, and the live round won't get picked up by the extractor. Can that edge be smoothed out? Is there an advantage to smoothing it out?
