ok, what do i have here???

So my godfather passed a few years back and left this to my dad. He has been using it as a "cheap gun for the garage". I about crapped myself when i saw it. So I told him i would much like to add it to my collection and he said he would trade it for my taurus judge. Well, not wanting to part with my stainless judge magnum (it was a gift from mrs suzukibruce), I bought him a brand new poly public defender instead ($450). I know the walther PP is quite rare and not anywhere near a saturday night special but i have questions as to what did i really get my hands on here? I'm picking it up friday. I'm old and Dad is older so sorry for the crappy pics he took but this is what i have for now. I'm excited to get my hands on it!

I believe you scored a post war German Police (NDS) marked PP in .32 acp. Pretty sweet find and definitely worth a Taurus Judge in trade, brand new or otherwise.

The German military pistol collector in me wants to come out of retirement when I see such things.

I look forward to meeting up one day and giving it a once over. I have actually never shot a .32 acp before. I have owned a few but traded it sold them off before ever firing them.

I bought one in the 1980's, West German Police trade-in, They were $149.00. I should have bought 12!
