Lower Glock internals question
« on: March 06, 2023, 05:58:57 PM »
I'm building a glock 19 lower and need some advice on the parts.  I was just looking for a full parts kit but most have mixed reviews.  I already purchased a completed dagger slide because I've used PSA before and they haven't done me wrong so far.  I'm going to be using this as a daily carry so my main concern is reliability, not flashy Olympic quality performance.  I want the trigger to work when its supposed to and stay inert when nothing is expected to go boom.  The lower I'm using said it is 3rd gen glock 19 compatible so if anyone has any experience with this platform please chime in.  I will admit I'm not that wealthy and am on a very tight budget though so bear with me.

A Dagger complete lower can be had for $99 on sale.  I really like mine, so much so that I sold my G19 G4.   (My G48 with 15 rd Shield mags also figured in that decision).

Original factory Glock lower parts will cost you a good bit more if you can find them.  Most everything on the market is called “Glock compatible”, because Glock will not sell full up lower parts kits AFAIK.  Trying not to fuel their aftermarket competition.

If you are just going to use a stripped frame then I would use a standard Glock OEM LPK if you want Glock reliability. They also have an upgraded Glock trigger now made by Glock, they released it as shot show last month. It’s around $90.00 or so.

I have a complete dagger and it’s a solid pistol. I have t put enough rounds through it to say it’s just as good yet but if they were complete crap the interwebs would be reflecting that.

Thanks guys.  I grabbed an OEM lpk with the ghost 3.5 trigger bar.
