Helwan Locking Blocks are available again

Just a public service announcement that any of you that are sitting on broken Helwan pistols, that new production hardened locking blocks are now being sold on Ebay and gunbroker.  They are much stronger than the originals!   

These have not been available for over 30 years.

Well that figures, I sold mine a few years ago, including one that the block had broken.  But that's great news for those who still have them.

Dang I didn't even know about these. The Egyptian script on the slide is cool!

They're Egyptian Beretta 1951 copies. I know some guy made new blocks about 2020. IIRC, there's 2 variants of them too. With cut wings and without.
