New guy from TN
« on: November 08, 2025, 05:33:36 PM »
I'm some old dude that's a longtime 2A guy and collector but new to the forum.

I had one of the $69 Norincos in the early nineties that shot well but I really didn't like it, primarily because of the orangy looking finish I guess.

A few years ago I decided to start disbursing myself of some of my rag-tag collection (because my kids don't give a rat's a## about guns) but that's not going very well because I still seem to find a way to acquire as much as I get rid of...such as a mid-sixties Chinese military SKS in walnut finish that seemed to find a way into my house.

This cool piece is extremely fun to shoot, which makes me wonder why I got rid of the first one.

I'm glad I matured enough to appreciate them for what they are...which are solid pieces of history that have been around as long as they have for a reason.
