The book Patriots is back in print.  Go his SurvivalBlog and you'll see them for sale.  He even added to it.

Free e-books.
just download microsoft reader (also free) and read away.

Anything by:

Eric flint
John Ringo
Michael Z. Williamson  (Freehold)

Also lots of great scifi and fantasy books.
If you want to buy books, they are very reasonable $4-6 cheaper than paperback.
And you download immediatly.

I can second the recomendations of the ones by Eric Flint and John Ringo, I'm going to start on Michael Williamson's tonight 8)

Michael Williamson lives about 15 miles from me. He hangs out on THR and makes custom knives.
Freehold and Weapon are great books.

Just finished Freehold a couple hours ago. That was indeed a great book. I'm going to have to look into Weapon.

I've gathered links to a lot of Post-apocalyptic fiction on this site:

Online Post Apocalyptic Fiction

I'm sorry if it's bad form to dredge up this old thread, but I thought by the number of people that had read the thread that perhaps it was still being read even if it's creaky with age.
