Ghetto Blaster

All of these toys are from my favorite gun store in the world, PineKnot, in Homosassa, Florida.

Is that green one duracoated?   Green is my favorite color.  Looks pretty cool.

Not Duracoat, but Brownell's Alumahyde.  Similar to Duracoat, but in spraybomb form.

Quote
Hard Chrome plate (also known as “Industrial Chrome”) is applied to ferrous and nonferrous materials to improve resistance to wear and abrasion, reduce friction, prevent seizing and galling, and to restore the dimensions of undersized parts.

APPLICATIONS
Hard Chrome can be applied to carbon alloy steel, iron castings, copper alloys, all types of stainless steel and aluminum alloys. It improves the performance of:
• Piston rings & valves
• Tools & dies
• Printing wear roll surfaces
• Brake discs
• Auto engine, drive train and suspension parts
• Motor shafts
• Aircraft landing gears and components
• Machinery parts
• Medical devices

This process cannot be used to restore automotive or motorcycle parts.

If you wanted a shiny finish, nickel plating would be unique, very bling but unique .
