You guys did read through the last post of the story where the town was saved and happy ending etc, right?
The last line should be

"Carl, Bob, and the other residents of both Stagford and Haven would all be better prepared to face what the future held, because now none of them would have to face the dangers on their own." from near the start of this thread.....

Just curious as to if that seems like a cut short ending or folks have missed the last post....? thnx
And thanks for reading!

I don't think anyone is upset with the ending, I like a hopeful end. What it really comes down to is this, we just want more!

You've got a lot of talent and in my opinion there isn't really a lot of good speculative fiction out there like this. From a purely selfish perspective, if you are done with this story, maybe start another within the same "world" with other characters. Maybe something in a more urban setting, or at least starting out there? Perhaps with some elaboration as to what happened?

It's all up to you of course and I'm sure as heck not the guy to go to for artistic inspiration but you've got something here and I wanna see more!

Thank you again for sharing this with us, it was a fine read.

Oh WOW!! Dude, you are freaking awesome!! I have not read the first 2 parts, but this is a really great story. I'm not a big time reader, like my wife . . but this story has definitely caught my interest. And that takes a lot (just ask my wife). I guess I'll have to read the first two now . . LOL.

Ya, I read the whole thing. three times now lol. I wasnt complaining about the ending. Just wanting more, you know what it was like when Jerico was canceled, well thats how I feel again haha. Is a great read for sure, would make a sweet movie. Maybe you could do some more from like, a different point of view or location, maybe somthing to explain what happend and how big it realy was, then near the end you can introduce everyone from "Sorry"

That was a really good read!  I enjoyed the multiple story lines and different locations.  It is a truly interesting thing to poner. What if the lights went out and we were on our own.  I would be screwed currently, but I am working on being a lot more prepared than I currently am.  Thanks for the good read.

Thanks guys.  I think I'm going to add a few more more chapters to the end about Bob going home, but I'm saving it for folks who buy the print version.  Anybody interested in an updated, autographed, hard copy? Should cost me about $12 to print.  If I know that I can sell a few copies, I'll get serious about getting it to a publisher in 2010.

I'd buy one, I always have to know what happens to characters once I know them.
